On the morning of February 25th, 2007, Austinites gathered downtown to witness the implosion of the Intel Shell. Shortly thereafter pieces were collected and are now available for sale. A perfect gift for those that experienced the dot-com meltdown of the early 21st century, or for those that just want a weird piece of Austin history.
